Tuition Fees

Information on the College’s tuition fees is published from time to time on the College website and can also be obtained from the Administration office. British citizens and EU nationals and their children may be eligible for home student fees as opposed to the higher rate paid by overseas students.

Students coming to study at Gemini College should ensure that they have enough funds to pay tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of their course.

Gemini College is a private tuition fee funded institution and as such places great emphasis on its fees policy. The College sets, publishes and charges tuition fees for all its course provision. The published tuition fees are subject to annual reviews which the College undertakes to set with due regards to financial viability and market forces.

The College operates flexible procedures for the payment of fees to the benefit of needy students and where such payment procedures are used it shall be such that, all registration fees and tuition fees deposit are paid in advance, while all fees payable are settled within at most three instalments. The college will take all necessary steps to ensure the payment of tuition fees is met and should a sponsor or third party fail to pay any part of the tuition fee on behalf of a student, by default the student becomes personally liable for payment of the outstanding amount.

The College upholds the view that that it is in the interests of both the student (and student's sponsor) and the College that prompt notification of fees due is given along with the arrangements for payment. Equally, it believes that students and/or their sponsors are responsible for prompt payment. Defaults on payment are treated seriously and will lead to the application of sanctions which may include but are not limited to:

  • • application of a late payment surcharge.
  • • withdrawal of student support services, library and computing facilities access.
  • • withholding of result transcript and or final award certificate
  • • refusal to re-enrol for progressing students
  • • cancellation of enrolment and informing the UKBA.

In the event of a student withdrawing from a programme of study and requiring a refund, this will processed in accordance with the fees refund provisions as set out in the College General Regulations. The College reserves the right to refer unpaid accounts to external agencies to pursue payment and may seek recovery through the courts.
