School Biometric Register

Gemini College has been managing student records using the iSchools system for close to two years now. This system enables all information about students to be entered into the system and stored on an SQLServer database for easier retrieval and management without redundant information.

The system has now been completed with a biometric time keeping system from Easydentic. The biometric registration system enables students to use their fingers to record the time they have entered the premises. Besides this serving as a robust system for the UK Border Agency (UKBA), this system will enable the college to satisfy health and safety laws as the system can establish at the press of a button how many staff and students are in the building at a given time in the event of a fire.

Gemini College has partnered with Easydentic as a reliable supplier of biometric identification systems. Gemini College is working with both iSchools and Easydentic to establish a system that will enable a flawless transfer of recording time information from Easydentic into the school management system.
